Have the current system looked at by experts from Tasman AV and a secondary source (any thoughts?). Decide if the current speakers in the Sanctuary will meet current & future needs and look at adding speakers in the verandah.

Look at upgrading the amplifier to meet the needs of use in the main sanctuary, narthex and verandah.

Look at upgrading the sound mixer to accommodate the following microphone arrangement:

- Wired to podium
- Wired to lectern
- 2 wired mics (ceiling mounted) to pick up congregations in Main Sanctuary
- 2 wired mics (ceiling mounted) to pick up choir, piano etc in Maim Sanctuary
- 2 wired mics (ceiling mounted) to pick up congregations in Narthex
- 3 Wireless hand held’s for general use
- 3 Wireless headsets for general use
- 3 wireless XLR transmitter/receivers for DI or mic use

The following line in equipment:
- 1 cd player
- 1 DVD/VCR player
- 1 computer audio via DI

The following communication link wiring
- 1 com link point in the balcony for camera points (centre)
- 2 com points left and right of the main stage for camera points
- all com points looped to the multimedia desk area that will require 4 com points (total of 7 com links)

Ian's response (3rd March)
- A secondary source to Tasman could be Monaco Sound in Bulleen. They have supplied us with mics. Suggested cabling is supported in principle.
- Ceiling mics may cause feedback problems.
- Generally mics need to close to sound source to avoid this.
